Claire started her career at Sedgemoor Manor Junior School as a trainee teacher over 20 years ago. In 2012, Sedgemoor Manor amalgamated with East Bridgwater Community School to form the Bridgwater College Trust. Claire worked as a KS2 class teacher, Phase leader and Deputy Headteacher at Bridgwater College Academy before becoming Headteacher of Otterhampton Primary School in 2018. Claire led the school from double 'requires improvement' to a solid 'good' judgement in 2022. Claire is now Executive Headteacher of the small schools in The Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys travelling, running and watching sport.
